Free paperback publishing site FeedARead.com, which was established with Arts Council funding, is hosting a competition with a prize of a critique for the winner’s opening chapters from an editor for Random House, who publish authors such as Dan Brown. To enter, click here to visit the FeedARead.com site then click on ‘New Competition’ at the top of the feedaread.com home page. The results from FeedARead’s previous competition last month with a critique from an editor for Little Brown are also displayed via that page.

To enter the new Random House & FeedARead.com competition, entrants must read a 6 page extract from eight books and answer a question about each on the competition page displayed on the FeedARead.com homepage as above. Closing date for entries is 30th April 2012. All nationalities are welcome to enter. FeedARead.com was established with Arts Council funding to enable authors of all nationalities to publish as paperback books through FeedARead.com, including with free publishing options and the aim of providing avenues for new writers to get feedback from leading mainstream publishers such as Random House. This aims to help talented new authors to develop further, and to take any other publishing opportunities that may arise as a result if they wish.
