SEEN This Week 8/29/11

Starting off the week, I am excited to introduce a new beta reading site, Litfy. It’s free to register and you can read all the classic literature that you love. There’s also a forum where you can chat with other members as well as other features, so stop by and have a look.

Congratulations to Glitzburgh blog queen Ashley Boynes-Shuck for being one of Pittsburgh’s 40 Under 40 winners. Much deserved!

Will Macmillan Jones’ The Banned Underground will be released by Safkhet Publishing November 15. It will be visible for pre order on Waterstones and Amazon’s web sites.

The children’s book Kristal McKerrington has been developing was approved and is ready to proceed to the next step. No release date has been announced.

Dr. Doug Bremner now has 33 reviews on Amazon for his book, The Goose That Laid the Golden Egg, all five star. He’s aiming for 50 reviews, so if anyone has read it and can write a few sentences, Doug would appreciate it. He will send out books on “spec” and you can return if you lose time or interest. It’s been a busy week for Kathleen McKenna:: The Wedding Gift is going to be made into a movie, and two more books will be released next month from two different publishers.

Kimberly Kinrade has three versions of covers for Rent-a-Kid (a YA paranormal novel) on her author site and is seeking feedback from fellow authors as which cover is best suited for her book.
